The "Lizard Digital Chassis 3,0" is IM Motors' master-integrated chassis control system, It is not a single hardware component but a highly intelligent integrated control platform that manages the suspension, steering, braking, and electric drive systems in real-time through a powerful domain controller, Its core advantage lies in the integration of "perception, decision-making, and execution," The system continuously perceives vehicle status and road surface information via sensors遍布车身 (including LiDAR, cameras, millimeter-wave radar, etc,), then uses advanced algorithms to independently and precisely control the driving force, braking force, and suspension stiffness of each wheel millisecond by millisecond, This enables the LS9 to handle various complex road conditions, maintaining excellent body stability and ride comfort whether on bumpy roads, during high-speed cornering, or in emergency lane changes,
4,2 Bi-directional 24-degree Intelligent Four-Wheel Steering: Say Goodbye to the Hassle of "Driving a Big Car"
This is a killer feature of the LS9, The rear wheels can turn in the same or opposite direction as the front wheels by up to 24 degrees, At low speeds (e,g,, city U-turns, narrow road turns), the rear wheels turn opposite to the front wheels, significantly reducing the turning radius, giving this over-5,2-meter-long "behemoth" agility comparable to a compact car, At high speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels, During lane changes, the vehicle attitude is more stable, as smooth as a rail car, enhancing handling stability and safety, This technology completely solves the pain point of large SUVs being cumbersome in urban driving,
4,3 Closed-type Dual-Chamber Air Suspension with 150mm Travel: All-Terrain Adaptability
The LS9 is equipped with closed-type dual-chamber air springs and CDC continuous damping control shock absorbers, The dual-chamber structure allows the air spring to form two internal air chambers, with air volume distribution controlled by solenoid valves, enabling multi-level adjustment of suspension stiffness and height, Combined with a large adjustment range of 150 mm, the system can seamlessly switch between comfort, sport, off-road, and other modes, At high speeds, the body automatically lowers to improve stability and energy efficiency; when encountering unpaved roads, the body can be raised for better passability, The CDC shock absorbers adjust damping force in real-time, effectively suppressing body pitch and roll, providing a "magic carpet" ride and road holding regardless of road conditions,
4,4 "Stellar" Super Range Extension System: The Master of Balancing Efficiency and Performance
For powertrain, the LS9 is equipped with the high-performance "Stellar" Super Range Extension System, This system consists of an efficient 1,5T four-cylinder range-extender engine and front and rear dual motors, matched with a 66 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, Its operation logic is intelligent and efficient, prioritizing pure electric drive for a quiet and smooth driving experience, When the battery is low, the range extender starts, primarily operating in its efficient range to generate electricity for the motors or to charge the battery, This enables the LS9 to achieve a pure electric range of 402 km under the CLTC standard (sufficient for daily zero-emission commuting) and a comprehensive range of up to 1508 km,彻底消除里程焦虑, Its official combined fuel and electricity consumption is as low as 2,81 liters per 100 km, which is remarkable for a large SUV, The powerful dual motors ensure ample power output, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time estimated to be around 5 seconds, indicating strong performance,
